Benny Joseph passed in the morning of September 19, 2015 at the age of 78. Benny was born in Liverpool, Ohio. He lived on the family farm in Pennsylvania. At the age of 16 he left to join the U.S. Marine Corps. He was stationed at Camp Le Jeune, NC. After one year he was transferred to El Toro Marine Airbase in California. Upon his discharge from the Marine Corps, he spent a wild weekend in Palm Springs where he met the true love of his life Paula Jean Starritt. Two years later the couple wed and shared 56 blissful years together. The couple first lived in Los Angeles and then moved to Covina where they started their own family. In 1970 they moved to their current residence in Arcadia where they raised their five children.



Benny was an entrepreneur of many companies. From his first endeavor over 50 years ago with Arcadia Radiator Service to his last two companies Mortech Mfg., Co. Inc. and Bendick Precision Inc. he enjoyed his daily visits with all his employees, including the Friday before his passing.



Benny's memories will continue to be cherished by his brother Tony Joseph (Lynn), his sister Shirley Hull. His daughter Christy Haines (Robert), and his four sons Benny Jr. (Tracy), Paul, John, Gino (Stephanie). His 15 grandchildren: Misty (Brannigan), Michelina (Anthony), Heather, Jacqueline, Benjamin III, Christopher, Robert III, Justin, Lauren, Zachary, Joseph, Christian, Madeline, Amanda and Maxwell. His 5 great-grandchildren: Sadie, David, Gianna, James and Eva. His 6 nephews: Mark, Marty, David, Jeffrey, Christopher and Jeremy. He will be greatly missed. Funeral Service location will be at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Arcadia, California. Rosary scheduled for 6:30 pm with the celebratory mass at 7pm.
