Berenice Haley Kosk passed away peacefully on November 10, 2013, at age 89. A lifelong Angeleno, Berenice graduated from UCLA in 1945, and had a successful career in Administration at California State University in Los Angeles until she retired. Berenice's first husband, Tom Haley, passed away prematurely to cancer. It was at Cal State L.A. that she later met Harald Kosk, whom she married in 1986, and with whom she lived happily in South Pasadena, enjoying movies, fine dining and travel. Berenice was a fervent supporter of the Huntington Hospital and other charities. She was fun loving, always cheery and genuinely interested in everyone she met. Berenice will be sorely missed. She is survived by her husband, Harald, niece and nephew, Diana and Jim Walsh and family, of Rhode Island, and many friends across the country. Services will be held on November 20, 2013 at 1:00 PM. Forest Lawn, 1712 South Glendale Avenue, Glendale, California 91205, at the Little Church of the Flowers.
