Bertha CASTRO Obituary

CASTRO, Bertha Flores

Bertha Flores Castro (77) of Upland, CA, was called home in the early morning of July 27, 2013 in Monrovia. She was born September 4, 1935 and was a devoted wife, mother of 7, grandmother of 12 and great grandmother of 8.

Bertha, who is dearly loved and who will be greatly missed, is survived by her husband of 57 years, Thomas Castro and her children; Ruthie, Becky, Mark, Regina, Linda and Philip.

She was preceded in death by her Daughter Cindy, Grandson Jonathan, Great Grandson Talmin and her brother Richard. She leaves behind, 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, one sister and three brothers.

Services will be held at St. Philip's Catholic Church in Pasadena: Rosary on Friday, August 2, 2013 at 7:30 pm and Funeral mass on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 9:00 am. Cabot & Sons, Pasadena

So sorry to hear of Bertha's death. Bertha is a sister of Gilbert Flores, that wonderful guitarist and harpist. I send condolences to all brothers & familie.
