I was a student at LCHS from 1972 to 1975. Glenn was my counselor for a couple of those years. He was highly admired and respected by the students. I send my sympathy to the family. May God comfort and be with his family during these coming days.

My fondest memories of Uncle Glenn were from years past as a young child. I remember Uncle Glenn being the "go to" uncle with his wit, magic tricks, and funny stories that always kept me laughing. I remember visiting the ranch in Arizona and being in awe of Uncle Glenn's arduous tasks and the impact he had on the boys who spent their summer under his guidance and love. During my teaching career, I often thought of his teaching stories and wondered how Uncle Glenn would have handled some of the situations I experienced in the classroom. Even though we lived many states and many miles apart, there was a love and a closeness that only family can share. I pray for strength as Aunt Charlotte and Jeff morn the loss of their husband and father. I also pray for my father (his brother), Aunt Georgia, Aunt Bess (his sisters) and other family members as they too deal with the loss of a beloved family member. May God's peace and comfort be for all.
Love Cindy

Glenn was a great friend for over 40 years. Witty, funny, patient, adventurous, loyal, supportive, thoughtful, ... I could go on but those who knew Glenn would probably have even more descriptive words that would fit Glenn. I will miss his funny emails with his signature sense of humor. But most of all I will miss a wonderful human being. May God bless you and bring peace to your family.

Dear Perrin Family,
I worked with Glenn at La Canada High School for many years. I'm still at LCHS (since 1989).
Not only did we share a birthday (March 9), but we also enjoyed trivia. Glenn would hear me say something like "i'm fair to midlin" and he would then ask me if I know what that meant. I would reply, no I don't, and he would then explain that it was a cotton grading term meaning that the "grade" was "fair to the middle" of the bale of cotton.
I so enjoyed these conversations and will remember them him always. Love and blessings to your family.
Fondly,
Chris Roberts

So many good memories of Uncle Glenn and how much fun he was with all of us kids. Even though I was very little at the time, I still remember the ranch in Arizona. So glad he was part of our family; wish I could have spent more time with him. He will be dearly missed.

At reunions and family gatherings Glenn would spend time with the younger cousins. I remember singing, "The Green Grass Grew All
Around" with him. He was fun to be around and had such a kind spirit. Didn't see him often, but I will miss him. I find comfort knowing he is free of pain and is with family in heaven....probably singing!

My brother Doug and I learned of Glenn's passing at Janet Perrin Campbell's funeral this past Tuesday. It is a sad sad week for the Perrin family. Doug and I were telling my husband Dale that as kids we so looked forward to family get togethers when we knew Glenn was going to be there. No surprise he became a teacher. He would gather up all the kids and get us involved in games, or riding horses or singing. (Between Glenn and Stan Plogg there were always kids singing! One of the favorites was "She'll Be Coming Round the Mountain" - with the appropriate should effects!). Glenn gave all the Perrin cousins wonderful and fun memories of him. He, like Janet, will be missed for the rest of our lives. We only wish we lived closer all these years. Hugs to Charlotte and the family. A special hug to Georgia, Bess and David. Love, Darlene Brown Vandemark and Douglas L Brown

I worked most closely with Glenn when I was English department chair and he was the principal in charge of counselling and scheduling. He was very pro teacher and, even if we didn't always agree, I always had absolute faith in his integrity and innate kindness. He was a true class act!

Such a fun loving uncle. Didn't get to see him often enough, but every visit was memorable . So proud to be a part of this awesome family. We surely will miss his humor and spirit. Heaven gained a champion this week. Sending love and hugs to Charlotte and Jeff. Love you guys!

We enjoyed nearly 50 years of friendship as coworkers and neighbors. His love of education certainly influenced many young people in La Canada. His willingness to help others was well know on our cul-de-sac. His kindness, patience, knowledge and sincerity were obvious to all who knew him. He will be sorely missed. My family, including my children and grandchildren, spoke so highly of him.
He will be missed.

Such a strong man in life and in memory. I am so fortunate to have been mentored by Mr. Perrin throughout my childhood and influenced by Glenn in my adult years. I am so blessed Ivafern Lane brought our families together all those years ago, our little cul-de-sac will not be the same. He will truly be missed. Love, Gretchen & family

Such a kind man and patient teacher. He made such an impact on my son during some difficult teenage times. I can still hear his voice and his dry humor. Rest In Peace, Mr. Perrin.

We did not know Glenn well, but we did spend a few days with Charlotte and Glenn, when we visited Yosemite National Park with my dad (Daniel Bush). We really enjoyed Glenn. He was such a kind, funny, and sincere man. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. May God bring you peace and comfort in the midst of your sorrow.

Glenn, may you Rest In Peace. You were a great counselor while I was in HS. Many years later I came back to work at LCHS... you were still the sweet gentle man that I knew as a teen. Thank you for all you did with kids... you will never be forgotten

Memory eternal, Glenn. May you find peace and comfort in the hard of your Lord and Savior as He wraps his comforting, loving arms around you. I have many memories that I will cherish for the remainder of my life. Say "Hi" to Frank Beemer and John Kelsey for me!
