I miss my son more than I thought was ever possible. More today than last year. What will tomorrow bring? I'm
almost afraid to awaken. Songs we all hear him singing, shadows
I don't see as often now but know must be Rich, and
his Father has died, Opportunity (Spirit) and Curiosity roving around Mars. Richard is my son and I'm not sure I knew the Man As well as I thought that I did!
Please tell me! The good and the bad. THANKS to all who care. Xoxo Mom. Nancy

Every now and then I hear a new tune and think about you. I think "we could rock this one". I miss you and the great times we had in the band more than you know. Peace brother.

richard was so gifted and so smart, i must admit he's the reason i don't perform music today. however, it is *because* of talent and quirkiness like his that i write about music (and musicians) today. i miss you, richard. you were loved, respected and above all, shared your passion for life with all you touched. thank you!!! my sincerest prayers go out to family and friends during this difficult time. -- jennifer palmer chancellor, EMHS class of '92.

I am so proud to say that Rich was my friend. He was kind, sweet and always smiling with me. I already miss him and I will always remember him best -- happy and on stage. My heart goes out to his family.

Goodness and kindness followed where ever Rich went. He was genuine in every way. My life is richer because he was in it. I will always remember him with a smile.

Rich was talented, funny and most of all a friend. My best wishes go out to his family and friends who are all still in a state of shock as am I. Rest in peace Rich, you are already missed.
