Nancy Gauntlett Obituary

- The Lord's loving kindness indeed never ceases, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness! "The LORD is my portion," says my soul, "Therefore I have hope in Him." Lamentations 3:22-24 Nancy Gauntlett's life in the presence of the Lord began early July 6, 2011, and ended here on earth. She is now in her Savior's arms! Although deeply saddened by her absence, our family is experiencing the supernatural peace that can only come from the Lord, knowing that Nancy's sincere personal relationship with Jesus Christ was genuine and real. God's Word gives us certainty that those who place their trust in the Lord, will indeed have eternal life. We rejoice that this is not the end, but the Beginning! We will be reunited with her in the future because we share the same faith in Christ. Nancy lived a life of impact! Daily, she lived her life with a passion for others. Those who knew Nancy were deeply influenced by her kindness, loyalty, love for all, servant's heart, and most importantly her unwavering dedication to and love for our Lord Jesus Christ. Nancy's life was one of unique enthusiasm that drew so many towards her. We are convinced that it was not just her magnetic personality and love for others that was so compelling, but the love of Jesus that flowed naturally through her. Nancy enjoyed spending time with family and friends, particularly with Todd and her two daughters, Lindsey and Kristi. Beyond her ministry that touched so many lives, she had a vibrant interior decorating business and loved helping others through what she loved doing. Among her favorite things, Nancy loved the many Bible Studies she hosted to minister to so many women in her home over the years. Her continuing passionate desire is that all whom she loved and knew here on earth would know the same joy she found in her Savior Jesus Christ, and that all of those individuals would know that she is waiting for them with open arms, as she resides now with her Lord. Nancy is survived by her adoring husband, Todd; loving daughters, Lindsey and Kristi; parents, Howard and Janet Larew of Arcadia: siblings, William (Linda) Larew of Altadena; Kim (Robert) Sullivan of Mission Viejo; and James (Kara Lew) Larew of Altadena; parents in-law, Gordon and Margaret Gauntlett: sisters-in law, Virginia (Bob) Robinson and Phyllis (David) Hillier; 11 nieces and nephews, Melissa, Amanda, Aimee, Jake, Erin, Kelly R., Bradley, Kelly S., Alexandra, Marnie, and Cole; one grandnephew, Joseph; two grandnieces, Paige and Allison. Her sweet smile and loving words are already missed by countless friends who she loved so dearly. Our lives are richer and will be forever changed because of Nancy and her profound impact on each of us. Please join us for a celebration in Nancy's honor at 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at Lake Avenue Church in Pasadena. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Nancy Gauntlett Memorial Fund, specifically for her two children Lindsey and Kristi. Donations may be made at any Wells Fargo Bank Branch. Please specify account # 3624471425.

Dearest Howard & Jan,

It would seem that Jesus has already begun to fill your hearts with His Holy presences. Jesus has said "Lo, I am with you always.", and it would appear that you believe him. I am sure though that you and your family will still miss her as well as her many friends.

However, a piece of her will still remain in all of your hearts, and in the many hearts, with the help of the Holy Sprit, that she helped lead to know our Christ as their Saviour.

You and yours shall remain in our prayers.

Our love,

Jo Ann & Jerry Aldrich
