Hi, I was sorry to hear about Uncle Nick's passing. He sure had a good life, I remember going to California in the summer and spending time with him or the times at Baba Kata's house in East Moline, IL., we all had such a good time. My mom always told me that was her favorite brother, Nick. I am sure he will be missed by all.

Dear Pokrajac Family,

My deepest sympathies to you all...my memories of Father's Day dinners and early morning breakfasts with Nick will be treasured always! I have had the French war story translated into English for you all, as I told Nick I would, and will try to get it to you before Friday. Prayers for peace for your family,

Love Michelle

Mr. Pokrajac,
Sir, I didn't know you, but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the U.S. Army in Europe during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Dear Nancie and Mrs. Pokrajac,

We are so saddened to learn of Nick's passing but we are extremely grateful that we were able to visit with all of you in June. We loved hearing his stories of his time in the service and his plans for the memorial musum in France. And, the wonderful article in the Star-News about his medal. What an accomplished and brave person. Our thoughts are with you.
