Ralph Murillo Obituary

MURILLO -Ralph Murillo, born August 24, 1919 in Riverside, California, passed away March 14, 2002 in Pasadena, California. He is survived by two brothers, David & Louis Murillo and one sister, Dolores Helmer, as well as several nieces and nephews. Ralph graduated from John Muir Tech, Pasadena City College and Southwestern University, California. Served in the Army-Air Force during World War II, with t he B-26 marauder group in Africa, England and France. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for meritorious service as crew chief. After WW II Ralph went to work for Lockheed Air Craft Corp, where he worked for over 30 years. While with Lockheed, Ralph spent 4 years working in Japan on the P-3C aircraft production project and 3 plus years in Atlanta, Georgia working on the C-5A Project. Ralph retired from Lockheed and enjoyed a full and happy life. He enjoyed travel, fishing family and friends. He had many loving family members and friends. Ralph was a beautiful, loving, generous human being. In memory of Ralph Murillo donations may be made to Salesian Boys and Girl's Club, c/o Ralph Murillo, Administrative offices, 3218 Wabash Ave., L.A., CA 90063. Ralph touched the lives of many people and will be missed and remembered by all who knew him. CABOT & SONS, Pasadena, Directors.
