Richard Reinker Obituary

REINKER-Richard Paul Reinker, passed away February 11, 2005 in Pasadena, California. He was born May 22, 1944 in Midland, Michigan to Robert E. and Annette J. Reinker. He was a graduate of the University of Michigan where he received his Bachelors in Chemical Engineering. He earned his Masters and Doctorate, both in Chemical Engineering, at the University of Colorado. He met his wife Elizabeth in Austria on a bus, and they were married in 1970. He dedicated his career to commercial and military aerospace. He was Director of the Western Division of Swales Aerospace, Program Manager for Ball Aerospace, and a Ch emical Engineer at Cyrenco. He is survived by his loving wife Beth; daughter (NLK) Stephanie; favorite son-in-law Dave; dear sister-in-law Pat, and his devoted mother Annette Reinker. He was a wonderful husband and father, as well as a loyal friend. He lived a life of honor, where his word and handshake meant something. His family asks you to carry on this tradition in his memory. He was a gentle giant and will always be greatly missed. Memorial service will be Today at 10:00 AM at Cabot & Sons Chapel, Pasa dena. In lieu of flowers, Rich asked that donations be sent to The City of Hope.
