Anne Asermely Obituary
A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Mary (Read) Torre. Anne was a Registered Nurse at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Attleboro and the former Memorial Hospital of RI, Pawtucket before retiring in 1993 from Pediatric Associates, Pawtucket. She was a member of St. Leo's Senior Citizens Club.
Anne leaves a daughter, Joanne Asermely and her spouse, Harry Laberge; a son, Joseph Asermely and his spouse, Eric Auger and a grandson, Adam Robinson.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, 195 Walcott St., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. VISITATION will be Friday 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Pawtucket Soup Kitchen, P.O. Box 3102, Pawtucket, RI 02861 would be appreciated.

To Joanne & Joey: Mom and I go way back. We worked together at Dr. J's office. I considered her a friend as well as a co-worker. She was always so professional but expert at putting children at ease. This world has one less angel but it is heaven's gain. I know she was a caring daughter, a supportive wife, a loving mother and grandmother and friend to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed. My Deepest Sympathy for your Loss. Your Mother was the Kindest Sweetest Compassionate Caring Person. She was my Daughter's nurse and each of my other 3 children's. When I visited my Mom she would always stop by to say Hello and ask about the kids and be on her walk. She was so sweet. She left her Mark on life so Sweet So Kind. She is definitely an Angel.

So sorry to hear of your mom's passing, she was and inspiration to everyone she met and cared for. She will be missed by all whom she had touched during her life. We are sincerely sorry to hear about the sudden passing of your beloved Mother and Grandmother. Daniel and I enjoyed having conversations with her in the backyard. She enjoyed reminiscing about the trips she had taken with her family. We will certainly miss Anne. And our dog, Stella, is already missing her. She can tell something has happened. She keeps staring at the house and is very sad. RIP, Anne....
