Dear Dick and family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I haven't lived in Rhode Island for the last 41 years, but as I look at your mom's picture and read the reflections of those who knew her, I see she radiates a joy in living, loving and serving. What a beautiful legacy! I wish you comfort and peace in your memories. She lives on in you. God bless you all. You are in my prayers and thoughts.
With sincere sympathy,

To Terry and family,
We are saddened to learn of your Mom’s passing. A few years ago we were privileged to meet her in her home with you and your brothers. It was such a treat to experience her joy and zest for life, as well as to be able to share many of her wonderful experiences. I am honored that she shared her apple pie recipe with me and we will think of her and toast to her when we prepare and enjoy the pie made with this season’s harvest.
God blessed you with a wonderful mother. She blessed you with so many years of joy, love, and sage advise.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

To the Tierney family,
What a wonderful and dear woman! Your mother extended kindness and good will to all.
Her chocolate chip cookie recipe is made quite often in our household as well as her Irish Soda Bread in March.
May your memories comfort you always.

With pleasure and joy can I say this woman raised the most wonderful family. I moved a few short months ago to the neighborhood where Catherine had lived until recent. Every week the boys would take pictures of how my house looked to show their mother-telling me she had great joy in seeing my progress. I´m so thankful for the stories and the memories these good sons now share. They serve her proud. With love and respect many blessings sweet Catherine.

My deepest sympathy to the entire Tierney Family.
Mrs. T. was the last of the original neighbors of the Beverage Hill Ave. neighborhood. I'm sure the angels were waiting for her with a set of wings and a rolling pin for her to bake some apple pies and Irish Soda Bread. Rest in peace with the Lord.

Our sincere condolences to the entire Tierney family.
Mrs. T was one very special person. She always had a smile on her face, never forgetting your name and always sharing a story about you that you likely had forgotten. She always made you feel at ease whenever you saw her. That's not to say she wasn't shy about giving her opinion, she was anything but shy. She was always extending a helping hand to those that needed it, volunteering her time for the community and church. Mrs. T was a special person indeed.

Loved seeing Mrs. Tierney on the bookmobile. She was the highlight of my week growing up in Pawtucket and I owe my love of reading to her. She would let us "punch" our own cards with the date due machine. Priceless memories. Wonderful lady with a great smile and laugh. May she rest in peace.
