Kenneth McCloskey Obituary

SEEKONK - Kenneth P. "Kenny" McCloskey, 62, of Seekonk passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at his home.

Born in Attleboro, he was the son of Kenneth F. McCloskey of Rehoboth and Maureen (Foley) McCloskey of Seekonk. Kenny was a graduate of Bishop Feehan High School. He worked in the maintenance department for the Pawtucket Housing Authority. He was a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Seekonk Council, #5108. Kenny was an avid sports fan and was an assistant basketball coach at Seekonk High School. He also coached CYO Basketball at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. He enjoyed spending time at Cape Cod.

Besides his parents he leaves one daughter, Chatham McCloskey of Pawtucket, his loving former wife, Tracey McCloskey of Pawtucket, two sisters, Patricia A. Cabral and her husband David of Seekonk and Jane E. Vibert and her husband Thomas of West Palm Beach, Florida, two nieces, Meghan Mitchell and Sarah Cabral, four nephews, Matthew Vibert, Shawn Cabral, Jaret and Dante Pires, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and a great niece and nephew. He was the brother of the late Mary E. McCloskey.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 984 Taunton Avenue, Seekonk. Burial will be in Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5-7 PM in the PERRY- McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence. The guidelines set forth by the Health Department will be observed. Face coverings are required, and fifteen people will be allowed in the funeral home at one time. In lieu of flowers contributions to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168 would be appreciated.

My darling friend Kenny I was saddened to hear that you had passed away I tried to track it down but unfortunately you were going already to the Lord I'm going to miss you you are sweet awesome outgoing always made me laugh who would think my condolences to the whole family my heart goes out to I really missed this guy one day we'll see each other in heaven it's all good and I'm so sorry but you had to go through see you on the other side the bright side much love
