John Buzon Obituary

JOHN EDWARD BUZON 76, Died peacefully in his sleep at his Sun City home, Oct. 1, 2009, after fighting a battle with cancer. He was born January 27, 1933 in McKees Rocks, PA. Survived by his wife, Barbara, his daughter Karen of CA and his mother, two brothers and one sister of PA. John was a musician and vocalist for over 50 years. After relocating to California, he organized a band called "The John Buzon Trio". He produced several records and wrote several songs in his earlier years. His records are still on the charts with ASCAP. His music could be heard and danced to throughout our valley and surrounding cities including the beach areas. Prior to coming to Sun City, John played in the Pomona and Arcadia area. While in the Pomona area, he also taught music. During the time he was in the San Gabriel area, John did several benefits for the City of Hope. John and his music will be missed but always remembered. Services will be held at noon Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009 at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Parish, 27931 Murrieta Rd., Menifee, CA.

Barbara,
