We first met Ron when he came to work at the Church of the Open Bible in a youth ministry capacity. We were on a church bowling league and Ron was there to support his fellow church bowlers. He had an easy smile and lit up the room with his friendly, outgoing spirit. And of course all the young girls had a mad crush on him because he was so handsome and looked cute in his white bell bottom pants. The kids just loved him and he was very good with them. We then started seeing him at church baseball tournaments. He was very athletic and played a great game of baseball! We once heard him perform at his church and were blown away by his beautiful voice. He lived quite close to us in San Jacinto and I remember sitting around the kitchen table going over catalogs featuring Christmas decorations. He wanted to start decorating his home and wanted to know how to go about it. And boy, once he got the hang of it, he blew everyone away with his creations. Ron thought our 2 year old son was so cute, he gave him a life sized stuffed lion that he had won at a carnival. I remember him driving his red 280Z all around town. Through the years, we lost touch with Ron, but we will never forget his sweet nature and beautiful smile. We love you Ron! I am glad he found such happiness with his wife and family. Our deepest sympathy and prayers go out to you.
