I went to school with Ron and remember him as athletic and clever. We both delivered newspapers for the Yorkton Enterprise. He was an excellent student and well liked by all. Sorry to hear this news. I know all who knew Ron will have lasting fond memories. He was one of the good guys!

I would never have thought I would write this on a Obituary for my younger Brother. I have lived my life expecting it would be the other way around.

Brother Ron's passing is a loss I am sure we will all feel for a very long time.

Goodnight little Brother.

I knew Ronnie as the neighbour across the street in Valleyridge. Always had a smile and ready too lend a hand, or share a glass of wine. He helped my parents with many projects around the house. We were blessed to have had Ronnie and Phyllis's friendship over the years! Our condolences to Phyllis and the family.

Sgt Oshanek, in 1975, was my introduction to the Calgary Police Service during my first interview, i had the very good fortune of working for him in "C" district. Whenever our paths crossed he was always available to share a smile and a joke, my wonderful career with the CPS was initiated by your interview with me, thank you, and rest in peace.
