I remember Terry from school and he was a very nice young man then. I lost track of him after school but got to reunite with him at our school class reunion. I believe it was our 20-year class reunion. I met with him for lunch one day after that. I had my two children with me, and you guessed, he made balloons for all of us. We sat and talked for quite some time and I really enjoyed that. He was such an inspiration to all who knew him. He talked about his daughter a lot. I pray for her and anyone who knew him and lost him that they will know that he loved everyone that he knew. Love in remembrance of Terry. I sure miss him.

In memory of Terry Ennis I want to share that one time when I visited Elmira from Texarkana, Arkansas, I had my two grandsons and my daughter with me. We met Terry at Lights Bakery and had a meal and doughnuts. Had a great time and then he made balloon animals for my grandsons. I believe they were both under 5 at the time and they still remember visiting my balloon friend. He is and always will be in my thoughts and prayers for the family and friends for comfort in his loss.

I had the great pleasure of knowing and working with Terry many years ago at IBM. I remember that he was very smart with a quick wit. He was also a kind and compassionate person. At that time Terry lived in Elmira NY and I lived in Sayre Pa. I had the privilege of car pooling with Terry for a number of years. While car pooling , every other week he and I got to play their favorite music during the ride. Terry would always play his polka songs and I would play rock songs. I can't say I ever really enjoyed the polka music or that Terry enjoyed the rock music but I know for sure I enjoyed the time I spent with Terry. Mark McQueeney Apalachin NY

So sorry to hear this tragic news about Terry. He was a truly good man who never hesitated to help anyone who even looked like he needed assistance ( which was me a lot of times )! His constant ribbings and outstanding balloon skills will be missed by all those lives he touched. God bless "Mr. Southside" you've left us way too soon, but I'm sure the kids in Heaven are surrounding you now waiting their turn and returning some of the joy you brought them.
