William Jason Sutton

Funeral for William Jason Sutton, 41, of Leighton will be Sunday, January 11, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Cowboy Church of Colbert County with Truman Sutton, Jason's father, Brian Sutton, Jason's brother, and Brother Neal Wright officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at Lawrence Funeral Home. Jason's body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Sutton, who died Friday, January 9, 2015, at Helen Keller Hospital, was born October 15, 1973, in Lauderdale County to Truman Sutton and Janette Griffus Sutton. He was an equipment operator for T&B Mobile Homes and a member of Cowboy Church of Colbert County. He attended Hatton High School. His grandparents, Paul and Beatrice Holland Sutton and William and Ruby Emerson Griffus, preceded him in death.

Survivors include one daughter, Makayla Sutton and her mother, Narissa Alexander of Moulton; his father, Truman Sutton (Fredia) of Leighton; his mother, Janette Griffus Sutton of Florence; two brothers, Brian Sutton (Renee) of Cleveland, Tenn., and Blake Sutton of Leighton; and a niece and nephew, Tayler Sutton and Will Sutton of Cleveland, Tenn.

Pallbearers will be cousins and friends.
