Steve, we only knew you briefly, but our short time with you was all that we needed to know what a special person you are. We will miss you in this life.

So hard to believe that my great high school pal has departed from this world, though surely to a better one. The funniest guy I ever knew, but also one of the kindest and most servant-hearted-as quick to help out and encourage as he was with a quip or joke. Always loved to hear from Steve-and knew in an instant from his voice that he was on other end of the phone. On list of things for which to be grateful, having Steve for a buddy ranks pretty high. Big O, you will be missed, but surely not forgotten. Thanks for the friendship.

As a former co-worker and friend, I will have nothing but fond memories about "Oli". Quick wit, and a man of class describes him best. To his family. May his memory be one of good times and of one man who gave his all. To his sons let the memory of your father give each of you strenght as you enter into manhood. Never question why he is no longer with you. Just understand it is part of the master's plan.

Steve-O. I will always have fond memories of your kindness, intelligence, and leadership qualities all the way back to grade school. I will always hold dear our reflections on professional baseball back in seventh grade. You will be sorely missed.

I am so sorry to hear of this unexpected loss. I am remembering Steve with fondness. You are all in my thoughts during this difficult time. Sending love, prayers and hugs to you all from Michigan. Try and take comfort in knowing that he has joined “Aunt Pokey” and Alyce in heaven, they have surely welcomed him home with open arms. My sincere condolences, Gretchen

Stevie B... that was my name for you. You were everything good. You charm and kind heart were more evident every time I saw you. YOU, my friend were one of the reasons I smiled when I came to work. Thank you for recruiting me and being the first person whom I met and supported me always. I miss you dearly and pray for your soul to have the peace it deserves. My love to you and your boys you love so much. I dont know if I had ever met such a gentle man.
