51Wayne Crowder Obituary

Wayne Allen Crowder, 51, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away on May 10, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on July 4, 1973, in Galveston, Texas, Wayne was a firecracker from the start-bold, passionate, and full of life..
Raised in the scenic beauty of Kenai, Alaska, Wayne developed an early love for the outdoors and the deep-rooted values of family and faith. After graduating from high school, he served a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in
Antofagasta, Chile, where he became fluent in Spanish and forged a lifelong connection to the people and culture.
Upon returning to the U.S., Wayne pursued higher education in Utah. It was there he not only sharpened his mind but also perfected his passion for fishing-eventually becoming a professional bass fisherman. Though his love for fishing was immense, Wayne also built a successful career in IT and cyber security, where his determination, intelligence, and steady leadership stood out.
Wayne was most proud of being a father. He leaves behind five beloved children: Fisher,Chase, Sabrina, Oliver, and Tedrich-each a reflection of his strength, humor, and unshakable values. While he found joy and purpose in Utah, Wayne chose to relocate to
Olathe, Kansas to better support and nurture his growing family. There, he thrived professionally at Shamrock Trading Corporation, where he was respected not only for his expertise but for the warmth and integrity he brought to every relationship.
Wayne is survived by his father, Buddy Crowder, and his siblings Keith, Emily, Casey, and Derek. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Crowder, whom he deeply cherished. As the oldest of five children, Wayne led with heart, humor, and an unwaveringsense of responsibility.
Wayne's life was marked by faith, family, and an unstoppable drive to do good in the world.
Whether casting a line in a quiet stream, guiding a team through complex tech challenges, or cheering on his kids at every opportunity, Wayne lived fully and loved fiercely.A viewing will be held on Saturday, May 24, at Peninsula Memorial Chapel in Kenai,
Alaska, beginning at 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m.In honor of Wayne's lifelong love of fishing, the family invites friends and loved ones to spend a day by the water in his memory. Whether you bait a hook or simply enjoy the stillness of nature, take a moment to remember Wayne-his laughter, his strength, and the joy he found in every cast.
He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
