Letha Ruth Moyle

1968 - 2025

Letha Ruth (Echuck) Moyle, 56, passed away Aug. 2, 2025, at Central Peninsula Hospital in Soldotna.

A service was held at Peninsula Memorial Chapel.  Additional services were held at the Platinum Moravian Church in Platinum, Alaska and she was laid to rest in the Village Cemetery.

Letha was born Nov. 27, 1968. She held many jobs during her lifetime. She graduated from Arviq High School, attended KUC in Bethel and got her Associates of Arts degree. Letha was also the post-master in Platinum twice. She lived in Illinois for two years. She also worked on a tender boat in Bethel writing tickets. Letha worked at Kilbuck elementary for two years. The kids that she worked with are now in their early to mid-forties.  She worked at Arviq School in Platinum for three years. Letha was also a health aide for Platinum for 9 1/2 years and then the City of Platinum as secretary and accountant. Letha and Mark bought and ran Platinum Commercial Co. to present day.

She was preceded I death by her parents, Willie and Margaret and her sister, Maryann.
She is survived by her husband, Mark; sisters, Elsie, Sandra, Linda and Donna; brothers, Ricky and Billy; stepchildren, Matthew and Jamie; and grandchildren, Lincoln, Ava, and Riker.
