Robert Dean "Bob" Dixon Sr

1926 - 2025

Soldotna resident Robert Dean "Bob" Dixon Sr., 68, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2025, at Central Peninsula Hospital in Soldotna.
No formal services are planned.  His ashes will be scattered in California at a later date.
Bob was born Nov. 4, 1956, in Taft, Calif.  He grew up and received his education in Taft, graduating from Taft Union High School.  He worked for Shell Oil Co. until his retirement.
 Bob enjoyed motorcycle racing, fishing, camping and mostly spending time with his family.  He also enjoyed jokes and joking around with people. 
 Bob was a homebody who loved spending quality time with family and friends. He will be loved and missed by all, and he will always be in our hearts.
 Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Irma Marie Dixon Sr., and his brother, Steve Dixon
 Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Robert Dixon Jr. and Aaron Dixon, both of Kenai, AK, and Kyle Stewart of Conway, Ark.; his wife, LeeAnn Dixon of Conway, Ark.; daughter-in-law, Wendi McDonald of Kenai; brothers, Richard Dixon Jr. and Paul Dixon, both of Bakersfield, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
