Sarah Lindgren Obituary
A Panakida service will be held at noon on Friday, July 22, 2011 at Peninsula Memorial Chapel, 5839 Kenai Spur Highway in Kenai. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at The Holy Assumption of The Virgin Mary Russian Orthodox Church in Kenai. Father Thomas Andrew will officiate. She will be laid to rest at the Russian Orthodox Cemetery next to her husband. A gathering will follow at the American Legion in Kenai. Pallbearers will include: David Segura, William Bliss, Jr., Paxton Oder, Kris Calhoun, and Art Edelen. Honorary pallbearers will include, Ron Dolchok, Jr., Ivory Garret, Cameron Ramos, Melvin Juliussen, Vince Showalter, and Eli Darian.
The family would like to thank all who visited and cared for her in her lengthy illness. God Bless you all.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Lindgren and daughter, Madrona J. Lindgren.
She is survived by her children: Phyllis Garret, Katherine Juliussen, James Lindgren and Ron Dolchok, and grandchildren: Ivory Garret, Lanien Livingston, Ruby Showalter, Emmie Showalter, Vince Showalter, Melvin Juliussen Jr., Kimberly Dolchok, Ronnie Dolchok, Monica Hall, Lori Anderson, Gerry Lindgren, Gina Gallegher and Lance Lindgren, as well as many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.

i will always remember grandma in the kicthen backing she seem to always have something on the table for her family i always will remember she never seem to b sad she was always full of smiles we will miss you grandma

It is always difficult to lose one of our cherished elders, but I have to remember all she contributed throughout her life. I loved visiting her. She made the very best cup of tea and always served it with a warm smile. We have all been blessed by having her in our lives. We will be better people if we follow her example of how to treat one another. My condolences go out to the family, with love.
