Jim worked with me at Rayonier Mill as a carpenter. He was an outstanding guy and was always willing to go the extra mile for his job. I was a gentleman also. RIP Jim and you will be remembered by all that knew you.

Jim was my boss at the Lincoln Theater in 1972. We were on a date the night my Father and brother were killed in a mid air collision plane crash. Having been through the experience himself, losing his Father the same way, he broke the news to me, was so understanding and supportive and stayed with me until other family arrived to be with me. Although I left PA a few years later and did not know him as an adult, I often thought of his kindness to me.
I´m sorry for your loss.

I have known Jim since I believe 1966 when we played what used to be called little league football , then the falling 3 summers on the Elks Babe Ruth team. He was at Steven´s and I was at Roosevelt. When we got to high school along with Norm Simons , I knew I had friends for life. My sincere condolences and prayers to the Fairchild family. God strengthen and comfort you during this difficult time.
