James A. Wells

The family of James A. Wells is saddened to announce his passing on September 10, 2025. Jim lived life to the fullest and was always ready to learn something new. He was a dependable and compassionate person, a selfless volunteer, a good listener, a lover of the outdoors, a talented craftsman and had an easygoing nature that seemed to draw him into friendship with most anyone he crossed paths with.
With a degree in geology from Occidental College, and his love for working with his hands, he supported his family with careers in production, facilities, construction management and as a home remodeler and furniture builder.
Most important to Jim was his dedication to the love of his life, Carol, his wife of 55 years, and to the love and care for their children and many grand and great-grandchildren with whom he always shared his time and passions. Jim and Carol loved going on adventures together and volunteering their time with the Humane Society, WAG and local food banks. A celebration of Jim's life will be held on October 18 at 1:00 PM at the Clasen Cove Estates Club House, 890 N. Portside Way, Sequim, WA 98382.
