Karl Fickas Obituary

Karl Fickas - beautiful soul, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend - passed away on July 6, 2025, at the age of 67.
Karl was such a brilliant presence in our lives. He was known by many as an accomplished musician and entertainer, as well as a lifelong handyman and jack-of-all-trades who truly enjoyed helping people. Most of all, he just loved making people laugh. His kind heart, quiet wisdom, unassuming intellect, endless patience, tremendous musical talent, and wonderful sense of humor will be sorely missed.

Karl is survived by his wife, Beth, daughters Addison and Jordan, sisters Claudia and Ingrid, nieces Taylor and Anika, nephews Logan and Remy, aunt Marsha, uncle Mitch, and all his band families near and far.

Deep gratitude to Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County, as well as all the family, friends, and neighbors who helped and supported us through the difficult months of his illness, enabling us to give Karl the best possible care in the peace of our own home.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 on October 11, 2025 at the Fairview Grange, 161 Lake Farm Rd., Port Angeles. If you're inclined to do something in Karl's memory, please consider donating to Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County (vhocc.org).
