William Rowe Obituary

William G. Rowe, 54 (also known as "Will," "Bill," "Billy" and "Wee"), left us suddenly and unexpectedly on October 26, 2015.

He was born in Puyallup, Washington, on August 19, 1961. He grew up in North Seattle, Washington, and graduated from Shorecrest High School.

He was an avid collector of fabulous old muscle cars. Bill's appreciation for classic cars started when he purchased his first car, a 1960s Mustang.

Throughout his lifetime, he owned and sold many collectible cars.

He also loved to golf, and he was really good at it. Bill truly loved the many friends he made on the golf course.

He made his last birdie on the 12th hole at Dungeness just before we lost him on the back nine.

In all the shock and sadness, there is some comfort knowing he left us doing something that he loved with the friends that he loved.

He had an amazing ability to make people feel appreciated. He was kind, friendly, thoughtful, giving and would go out of his way to help someone in need.

Bill was everyone's best friend.

He enjoyed a career working in the restaurant business. He was a great cook and treasured the times he prepared and shared meals with friends and family. He made a mean lasagna.

On the lighter side, he always enjoyed a good laugh playing practical jokes.

As a kid, there were constant practical jokes being played among Bill and his sisters. Joking around was something he never outgrew.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of Bill's friends who stood by him at the hospital until his family could arrive.

It was overwhelming to see how many people were there looking over him, and it was appreciated beyond words.

Please remember Bill in any way that he touched your heart or made you happy.

Bill is survived by his mother, Leonna Gray; his sisters, Lisa Adair and Brenda Warner; niece Kelly Warner; nephew Casey Warner; his true love, Jill Trubow; and her son, Aron.

A service and celebration will be held on Monday, November 23, 2015, at the Cedars at Dungeness Golf Course, 1965 Woodcock Road, Sequim, at 3 p.m.

It was always a pleasure to see and catch-up with Bill when we'd go to the Three Crabs or Bushwacker restaurants. He was genuine and had a very kind soul. Bill touched our lives in many ways. God bless all of you.

So terrible to hear this news. He was a great man inside and out. I truly have no words to express how I am truly feeling at this time. My heart goes out to his family and friends. Jennifer (Rowe) Libbey
