Carolyn and family, I was very saddened to see that Rick passed away. I played racquetball against him at Alpha Racquetball Club in the 90's. He was one of my tougher opponents, but a very good sport winning or losing. I'm sure that you are suffering a great loss. May God comfort you and bring you peace.

Rick was a wonderful neighbor who always had a smile and a kind word. We were fortunate to live across the street from him for so many years. Carolyn and their sons will remain in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Conner Family- First, let me share that the picture you shared of Rick is a great one because that is pretty much how he looked all the time. Even when his Parkinson's began to affect his pace, he was always smiling, telling jokes. I knew that if I needed a sympathetic ear, I could that when I spoke with Rick. He will be truly missed, and while this may not lessen the deep pain you are all feeling right now, each day that passes brings us that much closer to the New World...the time in which all of us will welcome our loved ones back in the resurrection!! I hope that resurrection hope will start to soften the pain and make all of us even more determined to stay faithful to Jehovah God. Then when Rick awakens from death, we can be there to say, "Welcome back!"
