Oh Ann,I've tried to email you and thought the worse when I couldn't get through. I found you and am deeply upset. We met in Pinner green London, I did your nails, I cleaned your house, I dyed you hair. You did everything for everyone, your American woman's group, your charity work. And spencer your little dog and Jessie before him.. Tia still has your voice recording with the little spencer dog teddy you gave her when she was 4 years old. (She's 18 soon) I have all things you made me, Xmas quilts .. I can't believe your gone. I love you forever Ann. My London American friend. Xx love Claire (Collins) now Green xxxx

I met Ann in England. It would be a friendship to last forever. I remember finding her at the tube station in Pinner waiting for a train that was not to come. She took us under her wings and introduced us to the world of buses. We spent the entire day with her searching for the perfect souvenir. Ann was kind, giving, talented, genuine...she was always there for us especially when Skip and I had to evacuate for Katrina. She was generous in hosting two London Girls Gatherings at both her condo and lake house. I loved her like a mother. I miss her terribly but I know she got her wish to live and die the way she wanted. Prayers to her lovely family especially Leslie and long time companion Joe.
