Charles Pittman Obituary
1931 - 2010
Charles Pittman, 78, passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2010. He was a lifelong resident of Pensacola.
Charles served his country in the Korean War and was a member of VFW Post #706. He enjoyed the time he spent with his friends at Circle Donut Shop. He will be dearly missed by those who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carrie and Bruce Pittman, Sr.; brothers, Melvin and Bruce.
Survivors include his son, Chuck Pittman; sister, Dorothy NeSmith; many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends at Circle Donut.
A Graveside Funeral Service will be at 2:30 P.M. on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 in Pensacola Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at Pensacola Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home with Sister Hazel Godwin officiating.
The family wishes to express a special thank you to the SINU department of Baptist Hospital for their wonderful care.
Pensacola Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Charlie will be missed by many. I will always remember those early morninngs that he would show up at the coffee shop with a great spirit and smile as big as the moon. God must have needed a great individual and " Charlie Brown " was the one to fill the need. God's blessing to the family and friends. He will be missed..

Charlie was always so sweet to me when I saw him in the coffee shop. He was always sure to ask someone how I was doing if he hadn't seen me in awhile. He will be missed.
