Cornelia "CeCe" Curtis Boone, 46, native of Pensacola, FL went to meet her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 11, 2017, after a brief battle with cancer.

CeCe worked many years in the family business, Brunken Manufacturing Company. She loved her Auburn Tiger Football Team! She attended Agnes Scott College in Georgia and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of West Florida (UWF). Until her illness, she was very involved in various church ministries at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, including the Church Choir and Altar Guild. CeCe was a National Garden Club accredited Flower Show Judge and enjoyed being a member of the Sassafras Garden Club.

Survivors include her loving mother and father, Lavona and Curtis Boone; her beloved aunt, Sara Johnson; as well as her cousins and numerous wonderful friends and a supportive and loving church family.

Visitation will be held 5-7pm Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel. Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held 11:00am Thursday, March 16, 2017 at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church with Rev. Susan Sowers officiating. Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, to be utilized for a scholarship fund to UWF that will be in her memory.

I received the news early this morning. As I read through her obituary, I thought this can't be for CeCe. It just can't be. A college friend that I lost touch with, she was an amazing lady. To her family, please find comfort in each other's arms, joy in her memories, and know that there are people who have you all in their thoughts and prayers for the very difficult times ahead. I am one of those people.

CeCe was in my photo classes at PJC. I remember her creativity and enthusiasm for the arts. Most of all I remember what a positive presence she had in the classroom. She had a contagious smile and a special radiance that will be missed by all.

Mr and Mrs Boone, I can't seem to find the words to leave here for you. My heart is broken. My deepest sympathy goes to you both. Cece was always such a sweet, amazing and loving person. I met her when she would tag along with me and Neil and she and I grew closer and closer after he passed. She was a light in my life on many occasions and I will miss her so much. I wish I could be there to hug you as I know she would want me to take care of you right now.

I met CeCe in pottery class at PJC a few years back. She was such a kind person and I'm so sad to hear of her passing. We discovered we were related when I found out her last name was Boone, as is my maiden name. She found me on facebook a few years ago. I will miss her.

Dear, sweet Lavona, I am at a loss of words upon learning of CeCe's passing. I had no idea she had been sick and had even sent her a message recently asking if she might be interested in traveling with me. I wondered why I had not heard from her. I pray God's comfort and peace for you and your husband, in the midst of the terrible pain of loss you must be feeling. I love you and have missed you. Lavona and Curtis, I am so sorry to hear of CeCe's passing. She was such a beautiful person! When we were kids we built a haunted house in grandmother storm shelter. It took us all day and we were so proud of it.
