I have known David since high school and have stayed in touch with him all of these years. It is such a heart-wrenching, humbling discovery to find someone you knew so well, and who you had so many various memories with just isn't there anymore. I know that you are in a better place and that gives us all great comfort. We will miss you dearly and you will certainly never be forgotten. We pray for you and your family. Rest in peace, Dave.

I have known David all of my life. After all he was 10 years old when I was born. I remember going to Disney World when I was young and having him and my Aunt Judy and Uncle Jack come along too. I was so afraid to go on that Space Mountain ride and my older sister kept making me even more scared. But David just held me and told me that everything was going to be okay and that I would have so much fun. And I did. I have fond memories of David and I will miss him so much now that he is gone. He was always a good person and always knew how to make people feel better. At David's older sister's wedding, I remember him dancing and all of us around him clapping our hands, the joy on his face I will never ever forget. As much as I wanted to be at his funeral and his wake, I volunteered to stay behind and help my grandparents Melvina and Andy Knackstedt because they were not able to attend because of my grandpa's poor health. It was the hardest choice ever. I love my family dearly and I will pray for Ruby, my Aunt Judy and Uncle Jack as well as my other cousins. At least we all know that he is in a better place now, and that he is safe. RIP David Fleck I will always love you and I will always remember you and everything you once were. Until we meet again in heaven...
Love,

Just knowing that David is no longer here, saddens our family deeply. He made our sister happy, and kept her safe. We miss his smile, and contagious laughter. We'll never forget good times we've spent with him.

I knew David back in high school and although I hadn't spoken to him in years, I still feel a void now that he is gone. He was a great guy who loved life and who loved making the most out of things. My sympathy goes out to the wife and family he has left behind. Dave is in a better place now but it is still so hard; I pray that you each of you receives God's peace and love in this trying time.

We will always remember David as the one with the broadest smile in the family. His grin was infectious and somewhat impish. We have lost someone who made part of our world smile with him.

Tricia, my love, thoughts, and prayers are with you and your family. David lived life to it's fullest! I still remember when David and Ruby talked us into going to that horror movie with them and how they laughed at us because we were so scared! Your brother will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Hold on to the special times and memories that you shared! I pray that God will comfort all of you and fill you with His love. I'm sorry that I can't be there. Love and Blessings, Laura
