David Peter Venard Florian born May 25, 1988 to Joseph Patrick and Aida Florian in Pensacola, FL. He was number 8 of 10 children. David attended Little Flower Catholic School, Catholic High School, and Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL. He graduated with a degree in Bio Psychology. As a child he was an altar server at St. Anne's Parish in Bellview. He was an active choir member in his schools and parish. He joined the Knights of Columbus at Spring Hill College. Upon returning to Pensacola he participated with Knights at St. Anne's parish in Bellview. He was an inquirer in the Lay Dominican's at St. Paul's working towards becoming a Lay Dominican. David attended Mass and made a Holy Hour of Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament every day since high school. He would stop and speak to the homeless to find out their needs and then return with assistance. To David who had 5 brothers every man was his brother in Christ. David made the Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary and promoted this devotion widely to all he met. He had a deep love and devotion to Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament and to His Immaculate Mother Mary. He enjoyed swing dancing and did bubble magic shows for his family. He was active with the Catholic young adults group. He regularly kept vigil praying at the abortion mill for those in need. He is survived by his grandmother Aida Licari, Uncle Father John Licari, Aunt Valerie, mother Aida Florian, father Pat Florian, and siblings Rosa Langevin, Therese Vignolo, Michael, John, Chris, Sr. Mary of the Passion of the Little Sisters of the Poor, Catherine, and Timothy. He is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews.

Mass will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church.
