Diana White Obituary
DIANA WHITEMrs. Angela Diana White, age 49, of Flomaton, AL passed away at her home on February 11, 2009.
She was born in Chicago, IL but spent her life here in the Flomaton community where she was a homemaker and owned and operated "Angies" dress shop in the 1980's. Mrs. White was an avid runner, competing in 5K and 10K runs as well as triathlons. Through the years, Angie was a member of Flomaton Band Boosters, Flomaton Quarterback Club and Flomaton First Baptist Church. She was very active in school activities with her children.
She is survived by her husband, Earnest Ray White; her father, Robert Burkett and mother, Bobbie Douglas, both of Brewton, AL; sons, Earnest Ray (Laci) White, II of Cherry Point, NC and Colton Dakota White of Flomaton, AL; daughter, Cierra Eve White of Flomaton, AL; brothers, Robert Burkett and Greg Douglas, both of Brewton, AL and Michael Burkett of Courtland, AL; sisters, Crystal Nall of Brewton, AL and April Jackson of Decatur, AL; grandchildren, Ian Drake White and Scarlet Nevaeh White, special cousins, Dennis Bondurant and Maegan Marie Bondurant.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 13th, 2009 at The Flomaton First Baptist Church at 10 a.m. with Rev. Dustin Strockstill and Dr. Jerry Kesse officiating. Interment will follow in Flomaton Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joe Paul McDavid, Dewie Bondurant, Jr., Daniel Moore, Jeff White, Doug White, and Justin Tullis. Visitation was to be held Thursday evening from 5:30 until 8:30 at the Flomaton First Baptist Church.
