Dorothy Stidham Obituary
Pensacola - Dorothy Venice Nix "Dotty" Stidham, 89 of Pensacola, FL passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020. Dotty was a longtime hostess/cashier at Barnhills Restaurant. She enjoyed quilting and doing arts and crafts and she had a great work ethic. Dotty enjoyed traveling, especially her trip around the world. Dotty was a fourth generation Pensacolian.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Hart and Minnie Nix and her husband, Jerry Stidham.
She is survived by her sons, Darrell Stidham (Cary) and James Stidham (Debbie); grandchildren, Lindsey Knowles (Todd), Kendall Lowry (Derek), Shelby Stidham, Ashley Seligson (Alex), Haleigh Blackwell (Austin), Judson Stidham (Laniee) and Weston Stidham (Nicole); 13 great-grandchildren and one on the way; brother, Larry James Nix.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South beginning at 11:30 a.m. with the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. There will be a private committal service at Barrancas National Cemetery.
