Freya Rose Obituary
Freya Yvonne Chandler Reid Rose, 62, was lost to cancer on October, 30 2012. She is preceded in death by her mother Katherine Chandler, sister Dawn Chandler, and niece Trevor Fegans. Freya is survived by her children Kathy Reid and Larry Reid, Jr. (Canaan); grandchildren Jomar and Larry Reid III; spouse Bobby Rose; siblings Hubert, Leo, Ralph, Hariett, and Paul Chandler and Myra Knight; father Fred Chandler; extended family including Christina and Aaliyah James, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of friends and other relatives.
Freya was a member of St. Cyprian's Episcopal Church. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1967. She was a dedicated educator with over 30 years of service. Her last position was as a dean at Pensacola High School, until she was forced to retire due to illness.
Arrangements may be entrusted to Joe Morris Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at Joe Morris Funeral Home, Friday November 2nd , from 12 to 7 pm. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm Saturday November, 3rd at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church.

I am so saddened by this news of her passing! She was such a sweet person and a help to my daughter while she attended PHS in 2010. She shared personal stories of her life with my daughter that encouraged her to make better decisions in her own life. We will miss her...RIP Dean Rose.
