I am sad to see you go Gene. We had a few adventures of our own from when you lived across the street from me at Sanders Beach to me you and Dick during our surfing days to your time as my deckhand on a tug. Safe journey my friend & you will be in my thoughts & prayers. Good Bless!

RIP my longtime friend, we have known each other since we were 12 years old through School, Sanders Beach and of course Pcola Beach. Surf's up where you are my friend.

I will surely miss Gene. I've known him & his family all my life. RIP Gene.

Gene never met a stranger. Everyone he met were invited to his home to eat! What I most admired was his love of animals and nature. Stray animals all had names from "Cuss" (cat under the swing set) to "Bruster" his guard rooster. I sorely miss calling and hearing his advice and as he handed Judy the phone saying "I love you". Rest in Peace my dear Brother-in-Law! I love you!
