My God, I never expected this. I've known Henry (Hank) since Junior High days and he was in my wedding back in 1984. I was thinking about past days recently and knew he was in Florida but had lost contact over the past 15 to 20 years. Our paths just diverged too much to allow regular contact. How I've missed him over the years. His humor, love of Dr. Who and Twilight zone made visits to his home in Wauwatosa when he still lived in Wisconsin and an adventure. We had many philosophical discussions and even though we agreed on maybe half of them, we remained good friends in spite of our differences. I don't know what took him but I hope he is at peace. Someday I'll see you again. Rest in peace dear old friend. I don't think I will ever forget you.

Whenever I saw your face, you were always smiling, laughing and full of great cheer to everyone around you. You're one of my best photo students, always full of imagination and wit. Your loss is a shock and I will always miss you my friend.

Henry my dear friend, the news still seems so surreal. As I’ve heard others put it…you were a time traveler…way ahead of your time at this most recent destination. I have always marveled at your compassion and knowledge for all things mechanical. Your true love of family and friends was clearly evident by the many interests you shared with others and the time you shared with me every time I would call or visit. I learned so much from you when I lived there in Pensacola and have always cherished our friendship. My passion for cars (and humble collection) is a direct tribute to you. I have always marveled at your interests and abilities. You taught me how to do professional bodywork on my ’66 Stang, without even getting my hands dirty. Most importantly you have allowed me to re-examine my priorities in life. You were way too young my good friend, with so much more to accomplish and to offer to the world. I will miss you eternally, but I hope and pray that our paths will cross again, Barry.
