Hilda and family,

We are sorry for your loss, and treasure the years spent working together with Howard at MCC. Current work conflicts prevented me from being granted "leave" from the VA for the memorial service, and truly regret not being able to attend.

A few years ago, we were honored to meet Howard and Hilda. They immediately made us part of their warm family. We always enjoyed his vast knowledge which he so willing shared with us. Truly, he loved the Lord; “Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose trust is the LORD” (Jeremiah 17:7). On Howard's home going, we send our thoughts and prayers to the Herring family.
With all love

I am so sorry for your loss of Uncle Howard. No words could have any significant meaning for all that you and your family are currently living through with the loss of a husband, dad, granddad and brother in-law, so it is difficult to even know what to say.

Aunt Hilda - I love you and my heart aches for you and your family.
Love,
Kenya
