Ian Montgomery Obituary
Pensacola - Ian Scott Montgomery was born on May 16, 1993, in Pensacola, FL, and adopted shortly thereafter by Marsha W. Montgomery, his mother. He quietly and peacefully slipped from this earthly domain into the presence of the Lord on June 5, 2021. His loving and devoted grandparents were John W. and Betty W. Montgomery, both of whom pre-deceased him. He had two uncles, Charles Clayton Montgomery and Barry Neal Montgomery. He is survived by his mother, Marsha, and cousins, Angela (George) Clark of Mobile, Christopher (Lisa) Montgomery of Pensacola, and Wesley Montgomery of Milton. He is also survived by his cousins' children, Tristan Clark, Rebecca Clark, and Alex Montgomery.
Ian overcame many adversities in his life, physical and mental. .
Ian truly loved everyone, making friends and winning hearts wherever he went. He had a captivating smile, entertaining sense of humor and deep compassion for others.
The Celebration of his life will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Pensacola, Pleitz Chapel, with Dr. Barry Howard presiding over the service. One of Ian's last requests was that he hoped "the people would bring flowers". Please bring a flower from your yard or purchase one to bring to the service, and please wear colorful clothes (if possible) for this Celebration.
