Jacquline V. Kennedy Corey, 81, of Pensacola, FL passed away on Sat., Aug. 20, 2016 at her son's home in Slaughter, LA. Jacquline was born on Aug. 8, 1935 in Bryson City, NC
She will be remembered as a Hero to her four sons and the neighborhood kids. She was a loving mother devoted wife who enjoyed life to the Fullest. She enjoyed traveling and had a ceramic shop for many years. She loved her four boys and was passionate about her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jacquline never met a stranger.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Willis Kennedy, Sr. and Katie Kennedy (A.C.) Lee; her first husband, Calvin Orglee Corey; son, Vernon Calvin Corey; brother, Willis Kennedy, Jr.; brother-in-law, James Story; sister-in-law, Rachael Kennedy; and grandson-in-law, Nathan Wallace.
Jacquline is survived by her lifelong companion of 30 years, Pete Newbauer; three sons, Tim (Jackie) Corey, Barney (Paula) Corey and Donald (Donna) Corey; daughter-in-law, Theresa Corey; twelve grandchildren, Joshua (Amy) Corey, Michelle (Ryan) Antor, Christina (Blaine) Pike, Calvin (Dallas) Corey, Barney (Pepper) Corey, Jr., April (Dusty) Richard, Tabitha (Matthew) Lemoine, Donald (Jamie) Corey, Jr., Cheryl (Shawn) Baker, Cody Bass, Richard Mack and Nathan Mack; twenty-three great grandchildren; sister, Betty Story; brother, Craig (Maggie) Lee; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thurs., Aug. 25, 2016 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Joshua Calvin Corey, Calvin Edward Corey, Barney William Corey, Jr., Donald Edward Corey, Jr., Joshua Calvin Corey, Jr. and Ryan Antor.
Honorary pallbearers: Dusty Richard, Richard Mack, Matt Lamoine, Nathan Mack, Shawn Baker and Blaine Pike.
