R.I.P Grandpa. It feels strange writing here instead of a letter like we usually did. I learned a lot from you and about you in the little time we got to connect. I remember doing a project about you in vietnahm at school and feeling good because I had that history in my family.

Rest in peace Dad. I will always treasure the memories that I have of you. Every time I see or hear the jets flying above I think of you and know you are watching over us. Miss you Dad.

I will always remember the visits with my Father later on in life. My journeys were numerous from Hunter Army Air Field in Georgia and from my home here in St, Cloud. Life without my Dad will be and has been tough to overcome. His memory and guidance will live with me forever. My God grant my Dad eternal peace and comfort. Amen.
