Mark Dyke Obituary
Mark yielded his spirit into the hands of Jesus on December 12, 2014 at the age of 58. He was born in Tacoma, WA in 1956 to Edward and Dorothy Dyke. Mark was a devoted family man, avid sports enthusiast, and lover of the outdoors. He spent his life supporting his family, not only as a provider, but as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son and brother.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Hugh Dyke.
He was survived by his loving wife, Sylvia Dyke. His son Christopher, daughter-in-law, Laura and grandsons, Andrew and Aidan Dyke. His son, Sean Dyke. His daughter, Ashley, and son-in-law Erik Myers. His brothers, Richard Dyke, wife Pat. Bruce Van Dyke, wife Robby. David Van Dyke, wife Maggie. Ron Gottheil, wife Elisa. His sisters, Mary Kathleen DeCaprio, husband Dominic. Shelia Brown. Cynthia Smith, husband John. Along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 18th, from 6 - 8 pm at Faith Chapel North, Cantonment. A private service will be held for the family at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Fort Walton Beach. Flowers and condolences will be accepted by Faith Chapel North or may be expressed via their website at www.fcfhs.com.

I think of Mark just about every time I walk onto the campus at Tate, whether it be for a game, cheering.
Again wonderful memories of the time spent together telling jokes, lies, and other things we couldn't tell our wives. The memories are precious.

Dear Mrs. Dyke,
So sorry to hear of Mark's passing. I worked for him at Morrison's and it was quite a journey. He was a good manager and I loved his sense of humor.I won't ever forget him. Your family is in my prayers.

Dear Dyke Family,
Mark is such a wonderful, giving and very helpful man! We loved his enthusiasm, during his training to become a manager for Chilis! I was his trainer and I could not have asked for a more elated trainee! He will surely be missed, but please have comfort knowing that he is always listening and a favorite memory you shared will bring him right there! Although the party in heaven is trumping everything, I know he is present with us during this sadness!!! We will all be together in god's kingdom one day! Much love to all who are grieving over the loss of such a great man!!
