Mildred Kuryllo Obituary
1927 - 2010
Mildred Kuryllo, age 82, of Pensacola, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2010. A lifelong resident of Pensacola, she was affectionately known by her family as "Millie" or "Sugie." She was a loving, devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Matthew S. Kuryllo, Sr.; parents, Charles and Nancy Rutherford; two sons, Lawrence and Matthew, Jr.; three brothers and one sister.
She leaves to cherish her memories her daughters, Nancy (Ron Lee), Sophie and Theresa; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She belonged to various organizations, Elkettes, L.A.F.R.A., American Legion, V.F.W., and Charter member of the Eagles.
The family extends a special thanks to Dr.Travis Pardue and staff, Doctor Karl Rogers, and staff, Dr. Amy Lipscomb and staff, Odyssey Hospice Healthcare, as well as the staff at UMC on PCU of Tennessee.
The family will receive friends at Faith Chapel from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 28, 2010.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 29, 2010 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home,100 Beverly Pkwy. Interment will follow at Jordan Cemetery.
Following the funeral, the family will be gathering at the V.F.W. on Lillian Highway.
