Mildred Clark Sargent

Fayetteville - Mildred Elizabeth Clark Sargent passed away Jan 7, 2018 in Fayetteville, GA. She graduated from Agnes Scott College in 1936 and taught school for 6 years prior to her 39 year career with the Department of Defense as a writer, editor, and proofreader of training manuals and advancement exams for the US Navy. Mildred and her husband, James O'Connor Sargent, enjoyed 51 years together living in Washington, D.C., New York City and Pensacola, FL. She is survived by sister, Inez Clark Windley and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Mildred will be interred with Jim in Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C.
