A great guy! Woodham High 1972

Talmadge, the coolest guy in school, drove me home in 1971 from a Woodham High School football game in his Camaro with Renee Little. I was an extremely shy freshman at that time and he was just amazingly respectful towards me, the absolute opposite of all my neighborhood “friends”.
I will never forget him!

My cousin, (our claimed brotherhood), my closest friend...I have so many memories of our time together. You were always an inspiration and never slow to remind me what really mattered. You had an unbeatable passion for life, family and friends. I will sorely miss you my brother. Till we meet again!

I was lucky enough to have gotten to know Talmadge over the past 20 years or so. I always appreciated how he always greeted me with a smile and a firm handshake. He always treated me very well. We lost one of the good guys. You will be missed...

Talmadge,
You were and are a good friend and a determined teacher of how to live life. Now, you are blazing a new trail for us again. You were brave in life and will be missed. All of your friends and family wait to see you in a better place. Know I love you like a brother, and I am one of many!

Dear Family & Friends,
I was one of the blessed ones to have briefly walked on the same path with Talmadge. He is/was a great spirit that just lived life and loved many. Wow, seems like yesterday, the hippie days of 1972-73, when life was love and peace and you were here with us. Today we keep you in spirit! Talmadge, I am confident you will be missed by your family and ever soul that got to befriend you! I will see you on the other side when it is my turn to go home. Rest in Peace my friend!

To All of Talmadge's Friends and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss at this time I will dearly miss him as a good friend even though he always reminded me I was a "Damn Yankee" He was a great friend to me the whole time I spent in Pensacola. I am sorry that I will not be there at the celebration of his life which he lived fully and without regret. I will be there in thought and prayer. I know that he is in a better place and is not suffering any more.
Thanks for the Memories

Wow! I was shocked when I read Tlamadge's obituary. I told Margaret and Myndi as soon as they came in and they couldn't believe it either. Please know that we care and our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Talmadge was a terrific friend and lots of fun to be around. We both attended Woodham High and had lots of good times on Pensacola Beach around 1980-1981. He was at our wedding in 1981, but we moved away from the area soon thereafter and lost touch. It breaks my heart to hear that he is gone at such at such an early age. But I'm certain that he lived a full and happy life. Goodby, buddy!
