Not a day that goes by that I do not see some of Tom's large footprints he left at Southern Legends Plantation. His lodge house room is still like he wanted it to be with a good fan and the a/c vents wide open! WE certainly miss him and his presence in South Georgia where he came from time to time. Rest in Peace there Brother Tom Moore. Your cherished Granddaughter and Grand Son are doing very well thanks to the love and care of Rhonda and Missy. They are going to both be something positive when they grow up! Huntmaster reporting

I am so devistated that my grandfather passed away at 68 years old. Hew was the best grandfather anyone could ever ask for.

Sorry to hear of the loss of Tom. He always enjoyed picking on me. Last time I saw him was at my Escambia high school class reunion located at Pensacola beach. had not seen him in a while until that night and he truly had not changed a at all, still joking around.
He will be missed.
Thoughts and prayers to the family.

From Southern Legends Plantation
Attapulgus, Ga.
Mr. Tom Moore, ( Texas Tom) you will be greatly missed this upcoming hunting season for sure. Your Great wild game meals, your special recipe-concoctions you prepared for friends and guests when you were there .....were second to none. Your room in the South East part of the lodge house will remain "Texas Tom's Room". WE knew you loved SLP and we appreciated your input on how certain things for hunting were set up with your and the Huntmaster's careful planning for success and for safety. As well Lake Seminole will miss your presence. The Huntmaster will hopefully from time to time go back to those special locations around the Flint River you & he fished, catch some fish and have cookouts in your honor. As well from time to time a toast will be made in your honor at SLP with our Gentleman Jack!
Rest in Peace there "Texas Tom". WE all are gonna miss you and your stories at
Southern legends Plantation.
