Voncile Kemp Obituary
1920 - 2009
Voncile McNeil Kemp, 89, of Pensacola, passed away in her sleep on Monday, February 08, 2010.
She was a longtime member of Brownsville Baptist Church. She loved her Sunday School Class and her church family.
Voncile was preceded in death by her parents, Hybart and Johnnie McNeil; sisters, Christine Slay, Vassar Roy Kemp, Gwendolyn Lanton and Marie Fortson Lord.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Ira J. Kemp; daughter, Glenda Kemp Roberts (Lon); granddaughters, Kathryn Coxwell (David) and Sharon Concilio (Ken); great-grandson, William Coxwell; great-granddaughter, Natalie Concilio and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, February 12, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel followed by the service at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. John Pavlus officiating.
Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Gary Slay, Timothy Slay, Danny Fortson, Mike Fortson, Caleb Pavlus and Ricky Hendrix.
Honorary pallbearers will be the POD Sunday School Class.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Brownsville Baptist Church, Building Fund or the Library Fund, 2601 West Strong Street, Pensacola, Florida 32505.
BAYVIEW FISHER-POU CHAPEL, 3351 Scenic Highway has been entrusted with arrangements.

Glenda, Lon, Kathryn, Sharon and family, We were sorry to hear about the "Home Going" of your sweet mother on Monday. God called her home, knew she was tired of pain and not being able to do for herself and husband. She is now at rest with Jesus, seeing her loved ones who had passed away and she is now happy, no more tears, pain or sorrow. I will miss her very much, she was such a sweet loving lady and I will miss her hugs and smiles. May God grant you with extra strength and courage for your family during the days ahead. We love your family and may God wrap His Arms around your family during this time.
