Dr. Wade Hampton Baggs, III, 68, of Cantonment passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016 at his home after a heroic battel with cancer surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Dunedin, FL. The community and our family has lost not only an exemplary physician and compassionate, charitable member of society but also a kind, nurturing husband, a caring, supportive father, and an honest dependable friend. From fishing and boating trips, to dinner and a movie with the family, to mission trips and vacations in Jamaica, Haiti, Belize and the Virgin Islands. Wade went the extra mile to make all of this happen, but the best part was always just being there with him. "You get what you need, when you give it away"- Wade H. Baggs, III Rest in Peace Wade, we love you.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Wade Hampton Baggs, Jr and Yvonne W. Baggs; stepmother, "Mama B" and his sister, Janet Baggs Stone. He is survived by his loving wife, Francille Mae Baggs; his children, Wade Hampton Baggs IV and Johnathon Bryce Lay.
The family request that memorials be made to Cameo Medical Mission Organization
Visitation will be held at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North, Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with the memorial service at 2:00 p.m.
