Barbara Hagedorn Obituary
She was born March 20, 1932, to the late Clarence and Nellie Howland. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Dennis Raymond Hagedorn; a son, Dennis Joseph Hagedorn; and a brother, Ralph "Jack" Howland.
She was well known for her local Tell City restaurant and town hot spot, Barb's. After her husband's passing, she moved to Indianapolis, where she dedicated her time to her grandchildren, jigsaw puzzles and feeding her furry and feathered friends.
Surviving are her children, Vickie (Doug) Robbins, Rosa (Mike) Jones, Julie (Barry) Fischer, Brett (Nanette) Hagedorn and Holly (Paul) Page; 11 grandchildren, Randy, Dana, Joe, Danny, Kelly, Amy, Taylor, Dominique, Megan, Isabella and Michael; sister Martha Young of Tell City and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home. The Rev. Tom Richstatter, OFM will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until service time.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Indianapolis, 7929 N. Michigan Road, Indianapolis, IN 46268 or to the Humane Society of Perry County. Messages of condolence may be left online at www.zoercher-gillickfuneralhome.com.
