He was also preceded in death by sisters Diane Brubaker, Patricia Patton and Naomi Castor.
Bernard is survived by his wife, Denise (Oser) Patton, of Branchville; children, Donnie Patton and Dustin Patton, both of Leavenworth, Tabitha Lori of Charlestown and Raina Voges of Leopold; sisters Bonnie Combs of Muncie, Cordellia Patton of English and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 15, at Denbo Funeral Home in English with burial in Jericho Cemetery in Taswell.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. EDT Monday and from 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday. The Rev. Darrell Stidham will officiate.
